I’ll share insights and explain why it’s worth reading. Plus, I’ll provide a scorecard to help you pinpoint areas to focus on for significant progress in 2023 and the future.

I just spent two days in Phoenix, Arizona with one of my coaches, Brett Tanner, who leads the Be Wealthy Mastermind Company. Being part of this group has been an excellent decision, as we gain valuable insights on tax savings, leadership, business tools, tactics, and strategies. I returned from the latest event last night, where we discussed two books. While “The Almanac of Naval Ravikant” was fantastic, today I’ll focus on “The Great CEO Within” by Matt Mochary.

This book, written by Matt Mockery, is one of the best I’ve read in a while. It covers five sections, providing a daily pep talk. What makes it exceptional are the strategies it offers. For example, it provides step-by-step checklists for various types of meetings, such as one-on-one meetings, leadership team meetings, CEO open office hour meetings, all-hands-on-deck meetings, and company-wide social events. Each chapter offers detailed agendas and specific tactics to guide you from start to finish.

“The Great CEO Within” addresses many common problems leaders face, answering questions like, “Am I doing this well?” It affirms and validates the right approach. Additionally, Brett Tanner created an evaluation scorecard based on the book, featuring red, yellow, and green indicators. This scorecard asks important questions about the book’s ideas, offering a comprehensive business evaluation. By assessing your responses, you can identify areas requiring attention and prioritize your efforts to achieve desired results.

I completed the evaluation yesterday during the mastermind session, and it provided crystal-clear insights into where we need to focus our efforts to reach the next level in this shifting market.
