From an agent who’s been in the industry for more than 25 years, mastering lead conversion is the key to setting ourselves apart from the competition and achieving remarkable success.

Over the years, we have invested significant time studying, reading numerous books, and seeking guidance from coaches about money. Through this process, we have discovered a concept called the “money blueprint,” which shapes our relationship with money from childhood.

Personally, my money blueprint was far from ideal. As children, we develop our understanding of money in three primary ways. First, we absorb messages about money from our surroundings. Perhaps you can relate to hearing phrases like, “We can’t afford that” or “Money doesn’t grow on trees” from your parents. These messages instill a sense of scarcity and create fear surrounding money. Consequently, we may develop a mindset that money is limited and something to be obtained and spent quickly.

The second influence on our money blueprint is our role models, typically our parents. In my case, my father struggled with finances, causing significant stress and tension within our family. Witnessing these challenges shaped my perception of money and its impact on my relationships. The third factor involves specific incidents related to money. Whether it’s a positive event like winning the lottery or a traumatic experience involving significant financial loss or sacrifices, these incidents leave a lasting impression.

“You can transform your behavior regarding money.”

As we grow older, we realize that high school education often falls short of providing comprehensive financial guidance. Consequently, I began seeking knowledge through books. One notable read was “The Psychology of Money” by Morgan Housel, which revolutionized my perspective. Recently, I also came across “The Millionaire Mind” by TR Vector, which explores the concept of the money blueprint and offers practical steps for improvement.

Implementing some of these strategies has transformed my thinking and behavior regarding money. Contrary to popular belief, money is not meant solely for spending. Instead, it is a tool for generating more wealth, enabling us to enjoy a worry-free financial future.

Your insights and experiences with money are valuable, and I look forward to a stimulating discussion. Call or email me in the meantime with any questions. I hope to hear from you soon!
